La magie de la Porcelaine, Vienne, Sèvres, St. Petersbourg
Paris, Musée national de Céramique – Sèvres, February 3rd – May 25th, 2009.
The exhibition La magie de la Porcelaine, presented by the Musée national de Céramique - Sèvres unveiled over 400 exhibits from the Marton Museum collection of 18th and 19th century European porcelain. Highlights included objects from the Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory, Vincennes - Sèvres Porcelain Factory, and the Vienna Porcelain Factory with some rare Du Paquier pieces. The exhibition was held from Ferbruary 3rd till May 25th. It was accompanied by an illustrated catalogue, written by the worlds best experts.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of the President of France Nicolas Sarkozy and President of Croatia Stjepan Mesić, which adds to the importance of this cultural event.

Special feature of the exhibition were the porcelain figurines
presented on the table as they were presented in the 18th century as
a part of the table decoration
